BLOG: Turgeon Hits A Home Run
I know its only the press conference introducing Mark Turgeon as the new head basketball coach at the University of Maryland, but today, he kicked ass. Turgeon said all the right things, and more importantly sounded sincere saying them. He even took a shot at former AD Debbie Yow when asked about Gary Williams role in the process he said "Gary Williams would not sabatoge the coaching search at Maryland". Now its on to recruiting. Hopefully keeping the guys Gary brought in and getting more of his own. Tomorrow may bring something new, but today was a great day in college park
