BLOG: Time For The Ravens' Rookies To Shine
Some of the rookies showed some flashes in the game last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but in preseason game #2 against the Kansas City Chiefs, I want to see the Baltimore Ravens rookies shine. 1st round pick Jimmy Smith should have more than a cameo appearance. I want to see him lock down a receiver. Torrey Smith needs to relax and show the speed that made him a big play WR at Maryland. Tandon Doss just needs to keep progressing. I've been pretty happy with him so far. Same goes for Sergio Kindle (still technically a rookie). Keep making plays, and show you can stay on a football field. Its time for the young Ravens to begin to show why they were brought here in the first place.
