BLOG: Those Damn Yankees
Hey O's fans... Sorry about terrible weekend, on and off the field. The weather was awful and those damn Yankees came in here and took both games. With that being said, how are you guys feeling about things? The Red Sox, unfortunately, are on a five-game winning streak as they now invade Baltimore for a three-game series. Correct me if I'm wrong, a walk-off win yesterday would have been just what the Doctor ordered, huh?
The Orioles, the same team that was once 6-1, have now lost 11 of their last 13 games and 13 of their last 15. Hopefully Zach Britton, Jeremy Guthrie and Brad Bergesen can get the O's back on track against Boston before they hit the road.
In any event, even though there is no game tonight, "Baltimore Baseball Tonight" is still on. Make sure you tune in at 6 p.m. every night this week to hear Bob Haynie, Jim Duquette or Joe Orsulak and myself as we break down the Orioles highs and lows from the weekend and preview the upcoming series against the Red Sox.
