BLOG: This May Get Messy
I don't think that any football fan was happy to hear the news that the owners and players canceled their meeting for today to discuss coming to terms on a new collective bargaining agreement. The owners have also canceled a scheduled meeting for next week. What this tells me is they are trying to take a hard line. We all have to realize though that today is Feb 10th. The Baltimore Ravens taking the field for a football game that counts is a long way away. I know that a lot of us would go crazy without NFL football, but I still expect to see Ray Lewis and company playing football come September
