First Alert Weather

Severe storms possible on Monday with Orioles set to play home opener

WEATHER BLOG: The Temperature Swings Continue

With rain moving into Maryland Saturday, our high temperature took a huge hit. We only managed to top out at 55 degrees, which is 14 degrees below the average of 69 degrees. The rain and drizzle will continue through the night, then clouds will give way to sunshine Sunday. That will help warm us back up to average. Another front will bring increasing clouds later Monday and then some showers Tuesday before lifting off to the north. When that front clears us, we have got a big time warm-up moving our way.

Temperatures will climb back to near 70 degrees on Tuesday and keep on climbing for the second half of the week. Highs will likely be in the 80s! Now, this summer feeling air mass will also produce summer-like weather. Pop-up thunderstorms are possible each of those afternoons.
