BLOG: The Natives Are Restless
The NFL is officially open for business, but Baltimore Ravens fans seem to be wondering when Ozzie Newsome and company will get the memo. Don't get me wrong, I think everyone is happy the club resigned Marshal Yanda, but beyond that crickets are being heard in Owings Mills. Meanwhile, the NY Jets seem to be on every player, the Seahawks gave Sidney Rice $50 million, the Patriots traded for Albert Haynesworth, and the Dolphins just went and got Reggie Bush. What have the Ravens done? Resigned Prescott Burgess!! Don't get me wrong, I truly believe in the Ravens way of doing things, and I always say you have to "Respect the Process", but that's not exactly whetting fans appetites these days.
