BLOG: Thank God For The All Star Break
The Baltimore Orioles picked a heck of a time to play their worst baseball of the season. The Orioles lost the Boston Red Sox 8-6 yesterday to end the first half of the season. The O's have lost seven in a row and 12 of 13. They are showing more fight these days then baseball ability. The pitching is terrible these days and two of their top guys (Brian Matusz and Zach Britton) have both been sent down to the minors. At this point I sit here wondering if there's any hope. The All Star game actually comes at the best time because Buck Showalter's boys need a break.
