BLOG: Still Hurts
It's been two days since the Ravens blew a 21-7 halftime lead and lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-24. Ben Roethlisberger is now 9-2 against the Ravens, including seven in a row. Still want to blame just about everyone. Can't blame the defense for what happened early in the second half, because the Steelers were given short fields with turnovers. That being said, the defense gave up the 3rd and 19. That turned out to be the play of the game. Lardarius Webb let the Steelers rookie 6th round draft pick WR get behind him and catch the ball. Ray Rice fumbled, Joe Flacco threw a horrendous pick, and Marcus Smith held on a potential punt return TD. Blame is big enough to go around.
