BLOG: Rain Expected Late Monday Or Early Tuesday
The wild October storm has come and gone, but the chill lingers. We started out the day in the low 30s and did recover to the low 50s Sunday afternoon. However, that is about 10 degrees below average. We are going even lower Sunday night with freeze warnings in effect for the Eastern Shore. Temperatures will only top out in the 50s again Monday and Wednesday as a new, much weaker storm skirts by.
There is a front over the Midwest and another storm rolling up the coast. Even though this pattern sounds familiar from the weekend, neither storm is nearly as strong as Saturday's setup. Clouds will come in Monday and then some rain is possible later Monday into early Tuesday. This rain should hold off until after trick or treating across the north, but could be in southern Maryland before the witching hour.
That storm will quickly get out of here for some sunshine later Tuesday. Then, another storm will approach Thursday night into Friday. Before that happens, temperatures step up another notch into the low 60s.
