BLOG: O's Bright Spot
In this disastrous Baltimore Orioles 2011 baseball season, there hasn't been a whole lot for O's fans to cheer about. All fans can really do is lament what has gone wrong. Zach Britton, Jake Arrieta, and Brian Matusz have either gotten hurt, not performed to expectations or both. Vladimir Guerrero and Derek Lee didn't do much of anything to stabilize the middle of the order. Then you have the Brian Roberts saga. One thing that fans can be proud of is the performance of JJ Hardy. Hardy hit is 24th home run of the season in their 4-1 win over the Minnesota Twins last night. There isn't much about this season fans can smile about or root for. One guy they can be proud of is JJ Hardy.
