BLOG: Orioles FanFest
I went down to the yearly Baltimore Orioles Fanfest Saturday at the Baltimore convention center not knowing what to expect. What I saw was lots of optimism from fans. A packed convention center with excited Oriole fans was something that I wasn't expecting, but was refreshing to see. Almost every player was there but manager Buck Showalter was the one who got a standing ovation when introduced. People were screaming for their favorite players and also screaming for the O's to sign Vladimir Guerrero. Snow is on the ground and we are a few months away from opening day but seeing Adam Jones, Brian Roberts, Nick Markakis and company has me ready for baseball.
