BLOG: NBA Draft, Is The World Ending??
Something must be off because from all indications the Washington Wizards had a very good draft. Last night was the NBA draft (or the last thing that will be on the NBA calendar for a very long time re-lockout). I'm not going to pretend I know a ton about their first pick Jan Vesely but the people who know love his energy and athleticism. Their second 1st round pick (Chris Singleton FSU) I actually did see play and I like a lot. They then got Shelvin Mack from Butler in the second round. A guy that a lot of so called experts had going in the first. Maybe the sky is falling because the Wizards, for a night, looked good
