BLOG: Just When You Thought It Couldn't Get Worse...
I give you last nights Oriole game vs the Boston Red Sox. The Orioles actually got out to a 2-0 lead last night but after that things went from bad to worse to embarrassing. Jake Arrieta suddenly lost lost his control in the third inning and got it back just in time to give up a 3 run home run to Dustin Pedroia. Jason Berken wasn't much better, but then there's Pedro Viola. Viola faced three Boston hitters last night David Ortiz, Josh Reddick, and Justin Saltalamachia and gave up home runs to each before Buck Showalter had enough. The all star break couldn't come soon enough.
