BLOG: Garceau's QB & WR Fantasy Rankings
Here we go! Lockout and greed be damned it's time for "it counts football." Ranking the best for you Fantasy Freaks.
Fantasyland Top 10
Quarterbacks
1. Tom Brady, Pats (36/4 ratio last year, sick! He'll help his coach run up the score.)
2. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (5 deep at WR and Jermichael Finley is back.)
3. Drew Brees, Saints (5 straight 4,000 yard seasons and some new toys)
4. Philip Rivers, Chargers (4,710 and 30 TD's in '10. Money!)
5. Michael Vick, Eagles (Has only played 16 games once, but so electric)
6. Peyton Manning, Colts (Old and injured but still magic on the field)
7. Matt Schaub, Texans (4,370 in '10, might have the best RB/WR combo in NFL)
8. Matt Ryan, Falcons (Plays indoors and adds Julio Jones to Roddy White)
9. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers (Won't miss 1st 4 games this year. Terrific young WR's.)
10. Eli Manning, Giants (Too many picks in '10, but 4,002 and 31 TD's)
Next Best....Romo, Flacco, Freeman, Orton, and Cassel.
Running Backs
1. Adrian Peterson, Vikings (Expect 1,500 and double digit TD's)
2. Chris Johnson, Titans (Take the money and run!)
3. Ray Rice, Ravens (Vonta Leach and more red zone carries)
4. Arian Foster, Texans (Fear the hammy. If healthy could be 1 or 2)
5. Jamaal Charles, Chiefs (home run hitter! 1,467 and 6.4 per carry, WOW!)
6. LeSean McCoy, Eagles (Playmaker combo back should run for 1,000)
7. Matt Forte, Bears (Pretty much same as above)
8. Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars (If knee holds up could be a top 4 back)
9. Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers (Plenty of goal line work equals TD's)
10. Michael Turner, Falcons (Still a burner...1,371 and 12 TD's last season)
Next Best....Hillis, Gore, Bradshaw, Jackson (Rams), McFadden, Williams (Panthers).
Next time Wide receivers and Tight ends...
