BLOG: Congrats Packers!!
The Green Bay Packers were able to do something the Baltimore Ravens couldn't do against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They were able to hold off the Steelers onslaught and score a touchdown of their own. This helped the Packers win Super Bowl XLV 31-25. Aaron Rodgers threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns (no ints) to win the game's MVP (Take that Brett Favre). He might have set a Super Bowl record for passing yards if not for all his receivers drops. Jordy Nelson (drops and all) still had 9 catches for 140 yards and a TD for the victorious Packers. Still, it came down to the Steelers with the football with two minutes to go. I would think most Ravens fans thought Ben Roethlisberger was going to lead the Steelers down the field for a game winning TD (I know I did). Alas, it wasn't to be. This doesn't completely take away the sting of a few weeks ago, but it helped a tiny bit.
