BLOG: Cleveland, Please Stop Whining
What is wrong with Ohio? What makes people so bitter there when it comes to sports? They whine incessantly about the Browns move to Baltimore even though they have their team back including their original name and colors. People in Baltimore had their team sneak away taking the mascot name, colors and records with them and while some justifiable bitterness remains folks here seem to love their Ravens. And let's not forget the mean spirited campaign to keep Art Modell out of the Hall of Fame.
Well, this week the owner of the Cavs when out of his way to take a swipe at LeBron James and most recently John Kasich who just happens to be Ohio's Governor made the entire Mavericks team honorary Ohioans while praising Dirk Nowitzki's loyalty to Dallas.
Guys...you have the Browns, Indians, Cavs, Buckeyes and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ...and I'll even mention Drew Carey. Stop whining, be happy with all you have and lighten up with the Schadenfrude. Karma really is a bitch.
