BLOG: 1st Place In The AFC North
The Ravens beat the Houston Texans Sunday and moved to 4-1 on the season. They now have wins over the Jets, Steelers and Texans. Those wins are huge when it comes to possible end of the season tie breakers for seeding and for possible home field advantage.
You never know how the season will play out, but the Ravens schedule gets a lot easier. You can't take any game for granted, but you still have 3 games left against the NFC West and 2 against the AFC South. The Ravens have 4 games left with the Bengals and Browns. Outside of the Steelers and Chargers game, the Ravens will be favored in every game.
Looking at the the records you might think the game against the 49ers could be difficult, but the Ravens get them on Thanksgiving night. Short week to travel from the west coast and play the Ravens on a Thursday night. That would be a tough spot for the 49ers if it were Sunday at 1pm.
