Blinded Warrior Wins Gold In 2012 London Paralympics
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--An unbelievable story of perseverance ends in gold for a local wounded warrior.
Last month, WJZ introduced you to Lieutenant Bradley Snyder, who lost his eyesight serving in Afghanistan last year.
Snyder was a swimmer at the Naval Academy, and right now, he's in London competing in the Paralympic Games.
On Friday night, Snyder won the gold medal in the 100 meter freestyle.
He's got six more chances at gold before the games are through.
