Whether you can dance on ice or end up wobbling even when clutching the wall, ice skating is a great way to spend time with friends and family.

A generally new, high-quality establishment that opened its doors in February 2008, the Reisterstown Sportsplex includes an ice skating rink as well as a soccer and lacrosse field under one roof to bring athletics to the community all year long. Staffed by helpful employees, this spectacular facility offers concessions and a variety of times for public skating. There are classes for those of any age to learn to skate, as well as a figure skating, hockey camp and even broomball lessons. Choose Reisterstown Sportsplex for an all-inclusive birthday party. The Mimi Dipietro's rink in Patterson Park was originally built in 1967. Yet, when it was updated in 1986 to make it an indoor rink, it became an ideal skating center for Baltimore families. The center often hosts Baltimore hockey teams and holds broomball, ice hockey and sled hockey classes from October through March, in addition to offering 16 hours of public skating each week. Complete with snack and skate shops, as well as the warm-up room with an inviting fireplace, the center offers all of the comforts you could need. Rent the indoor skating center for special events, or pay only $30 for a 10-session season pass.
