Best Outdoor Concerts To Look Forward To This Summer In Baltimore

The weather's getting warmer, the days are getting longer… Summer must be here. Instead of camping inside air-conditioned offices, come enjoy great weather and music at these local venues. With Grammy-winning artists to local musical talent, Baltimore has plenty of musical thrills this summer. Be sure to check out the following artists and concert tours this summer, as they stop in Baltimore for musical fun.

Date: Aug. 8 – 8 p.m.

As long as you have your suit and tie on, you can jam with music artists Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake. Bringing their 12-city tour to the M&T Bank Stadium, the home to the Baltimore Ravens, these entertainers are expected to perform one of the biggest Baltimore concerts this summer. The catchy hit, "Suit and Tie" is Timberlake's single with a featured verse from Jay-Z. The song will be the headliner of the tour and will also include songs from Timberlake's new album, "20/20 Experience," which released on March 19.

Skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans is bringing back the annual warped tour. Since 1995, the tour mainly showcases punk rock musicians, but has also incorporated pop mixed with hip-hop artists like music group Black-Eyed Peas. This year, bands and artists such as Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish, Hawthorne Heights and others will be  headlining the concert. Taking place at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, just 20 miles from downtown Baltimore, the tour will be set up with different sections so everyone gets a chance to experience each band.

American rock boy band The Beach Boys will touring together for the first time in over two decades and guess what...They're coming to Baltimore! Located at the Pier Six Concert Pavilion, directly in the Baltimore harbor, this venue is ideal for outdoor live music venue. Performing classics "Surfin' U.S.A" and "California Girls," this concert will be a continuation from last year's 50th anniversary tour. Enjoy the summer nights with friends Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks during their summer tour.

After the English rock band The Zombies recently released their new album, featuring only live performances, the music group has already declared their summer concert for Baltimore fans. Taking place in Rams Head on Stage, located right outside of downtown, this concert venue is perfect to grab drinks and listen to a musical delight on a warm, summer night. The English band will perform one their greatest hits, "She's Not There." Also, the Zombies will perform selections from their most recent album release.

Every summer, Baltimore hosts the Capital Jazz Fest in their backyard, Merriweather Post Pavilion. Enjoy local jazz bands alongside famous jazz singers while parading through the Pavilion's woods. This venue serves cocktails and wine and includes hors d'oeuvres. Be sure to bring a camping chair so you can get settled as you listen to your favorite jazz renditions.
