Best Exhibits In Baltimore

It's no secret that Baltimore has a lot of great museums.  Each one has different exhibits, obviously; here are some of the best ones from this year.

Tall Sculpture Barn & Wildflower Garden

This exhibit has a life-size chess set comprised of angels and aliens.  There's also a wildflower garden.  This is free during museum hours; the exhibit is ongoing.  Visit the website for more information.

Walter Wick: Games, Gizmos and Toys in the Attic

This exhibit is a retrospective of Walter Wick's work; Wick is an author.  Walter Wick: Games, Gizmos and Toys in the Attic is going to be in Baltimore until Jan. 2, 2011.  Tickets are $10 for adults.

What Makes Us Smile? is co-curated by Matt Groenig (creator of "The Simpsons").  Highlights include toys, cartoons and an homage to Mad Magazine.  It will be in Baltimore through Sept. 4, 2011.
