Built in 1911, the Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Tower, which is modeled upon the design of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy, has a unique history that has included a commitment to the arts from the beginning. An artist-run gallery, Current Space is located in a renovated space in the downtown area. Serving as a nexus of artistic and cultural endeavors, it has been operating since November 2004.
