Vinny opened by asking about Jarvis Jones and him possibly having a hard time picking up the Steeler's defense. Bouchette stated how complex Dick Lebeau's defensive schemes can be for rookies but that he did not notice Jones being behind the curve. Ed was then asked a question pertaining to the offensive line and the struggles they faced last year. Bouchette said the injuries from last year are healed and that they have the making of a good young line.
With Roethlisberger out recovering from knee surgery Rob asked who was taking 1st team snaps at quarterback. Bouchette said Bruce Gradowski has been taking most of the snaps and that Landry Jones does not seem like he will be competing for the back up role anytime soon.
Vinny then asked what are some of the issues that need to be cleared up before training camp in July. Bouchette said the team needs to determine their outside linebackers and figure out their depth at safety. Ed also stated the Steelers need to sure up the wide receiver position.
