Beasley Reece Says LeSean McCoy Is Way Off Base With Chip Kelly Criticism
Beasley Reece is the Sports Director of CBS in Philadelphia, and the President Of The NFL Alumni Philadelphia Chapter.
Beasley joined Ken and Steve to talk about Orioles vs Phillies series and some NFL topics.
Beasley started off by talking about what he has heard about Andy MacPhail possibly taking over the Phillies saying "about the same thing you guys are hearing, he's a guy who has a lot of miles under his belt and it's going to be a slow turnaround for the Phillies." When asked about the possibility of the MLB instating the DH in both leagues Beasley said "this is a pretty traditional town...I don't think people in this town want any kind of a change when it comes to that." Beasley then switched to football and talked about Chip Kelly and whether Philly fans are souring on him saying "Chip is one of those individuals where you either love him or wonder what the hell is he doing?...he is probably the biggest name in Philadelphia sports right now, he's a major lightning rod." Beasley also talked about LeSean McCoy's accusations that Chip Kelly is racist saying "I find it difficult to believe."
