Beasley Reece On The Problems Between Former Eagles Players And Chip Kelly
Beasley Reece was a long time NFL defensive back and is the current President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the NFL Alumni.
Beasley joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Eagles Coach Chip Kelly and why he is having so many troubles with players and being accused of racism.
Steve asked Beasley his take on whether or not he thinks Chip Kelly is a racist. Beasley doesn't believe these accusations have much substance, "I think racist is a step that is unfair and unwarranted, the scuttlebutt in the locker room was that Chip was uncomfortable around black players. This man is not a racist."
Ed asked Beasley about his thoughts on how Chip could put an end to these accusations. Beasley doesn't believe it will be very easy for him to do so because of the kind of person he is when handling the media, "when it comes to the media he is like Belichick, singular, focused, odd behavior."
Beasley went on to give his opinion on Brandon Boykin's comments towards Chip Kelly, his take on deflate gate, and his prediction for how the Philadelphia Eagles will fair this season.
