Baysox Manager Gary Kendall Shares Bowie's Keys To Success
Bowie Baysox Manager Gary Kendall joined Scott and Jeremy live from Prince George's Stadium to talk about the Baysox season so far.
Boasting a winning record (62-48), Kendall mentioned the athletes that made this successful season possible, "I'm real happy with this group, it's a good mix in the club house. We've got some youth, which we've done a great job of developing some guys at the lower levels. We also have a few familiar faces. Brandon Snyder is back in the organization, and he's been a big plus. You put him next to (Trey) Mancini, it's a little protection there, and throwing to (Quincy) Latimore, and now you've got a little mixture of a little pop with (Mike) Yastrzemski. You know, it's been a lot of fun to watch."
Kendall hopes to move forward and he knows what must be done, " We're holding our own. We've got to swing our bats, continue to play good baseball. It's about throwing it over, getting ahead, getting some quick outs, conserving those pitches, and putting some tallies on the board."
