Basketball Coach Arrested For Child Sex Abuse
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police have arrested a basketball coach for child sex abuse.
Tyrone Terry Jordan, 55, has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor and fourth-degree sex offense.
A 14-year-old boy reported Jordan, his basketball coach, had touched him inappropriately on Aug. 31 while he was at the Hoops Summer Camp. The camp is located in the Twin Lakes Racquet Club.
Detectives began an investigation on Sept. 3, when the incident was reported to the police.
Jordan was arrested on Sept. 9, and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Police are concerned about the possibility of other victims because of Jordan's position with the company. Baltimore County Police are asking anyone with information to please contact the Baltimore County Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-853-3650.
