Man in custody following standoff in Baltimore's Fells Point neighborhood
BALTIMORE - A man is in custody following a standoff Sunday evening in Baltimore's Fells Point neighborhood, police say.
Police, along with members of SWAT and the Crisis Response Team, responded to the 500 block of South Register Street for an armed person involved in a domestic dispute.
A woman called officers saying that her partner was threatening self-harm and had access to firearms.
A large police presence blocked off a portion of Fleet Street and Register Street.
The man was taken into custody without incident, police say.
