Baltimore Woman Killed, 2 Hurt After Car Collides With Motorcycle
GRASONVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a woman was killed and two people were hurt when a car crossed the center line on Route 18 near Kent Narrows and hit a motorcycle.
It happened about 7 p.m. Sunday. Troopers say a car driven by Kaitlin Ashley Omara of Westminster was traveling west when it crossed the double line.
Omara's car hit a motorcycle operated by Perry Cornelius Hunter of Columbia. Police say both vehicles caught fire.
Hunter and his passenger, Levonne Frances Garvin St. Clair of Gwynn Oak, were flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
Troopers say Garvin St. Clair died later Sunday evening.
Omara was taken to Queen Anne's County Emergency Center.
The accident is under investigation.
