Baltimore Sun Journalist & Pulitzer Prize-Winning Writer Dies
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Some sad news to report in the world of journalism. A local Pulitzer Prize-winning writer has died.
Alice Steinbach was the first woman from "The Baltimore Sun" to win the journalism award for her story about a 10-year-old blind boy in 1985. Steinbach died Tuesday night in her Roland Park Place home after battling cancer.
She was 78.
