Baltimore Police Investigate Rash Of Shootings
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- It's been a violent holiday weekend in our area. Police in the city and Baltimore County are investigating four shootings in the last two days.
The latest happened Saturday night in Dundalk. A man was shot in a house on the 800-block of Avondale Road. Police haven't released his condition. No arrests have been made and investigators have not said what led to the shooting.
In South Baltimore, a man was shot Saturday afternoon in the 1800-block of Baker Street. There are few details on what happened. The victim is currently being treated but there's no word on his condition.
In East Baltimore, a 34-year-old man is recovering after he was shot in the chest Friday night. Police found him lying in the 1500-block of Spring Street. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 33-year-old man remains hospitalized after he was shot in the neck early Saturday morning in Northwest Baltimore. Police found him lying in the 2700-block of Oswego Avenue. Doctors expect him to survive.
There have been no arrests in any of the shootings this weekend. Anyone with information in any of these cases is asked to call police.
