Baltimore Police Investigate 5 Weekend Shootings
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say they are investigating five weekend shootings.
Police say two people died in separate shootings on Saturday. Three people were wounded, meanwhile, in shootings within minutes of each other Sunday morning.
A 30-year-old man died early Saturday after being found shot in the back in the 600-block of North Lakewood Ave. The second fatal shooting occurred Saturday afternoon in the 1200-block of Linworth Ave., where a 29-year-old man died at the scene.
Police say the victim in each of the Sunday shootings was a man in his early 20s. None of the shootings was fatal. One man was shot in the back and the other two were shot in the arm.
