Baltimore Man Sentenced In Jewelry Store Robberies
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man who pleaded guilty to robbing two jewelry stores has been sentenced to more than 13 years in prison.
Deontaye Harvey, 21, of Baltimore was also ordered to pay restitution at sentencing Thursday.
According to his plea agreement, Harvey and another man robbed Elite Gold & Diamonds in Mondawmin Mall at gunpoint in September 2010.
Prosecutors say in March 2011, Harvey and two other men made off with 34 men's Rolex watches worth $275,000 when they robbed Edward Arthur Jewelers in the Columbia Mall.
