Baltimore Man Gets 14 Years In Armed Robbery
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison in the armed robbery of a rental store.
On Dec. 7, 2013, prosecutors say 52-year-old Arnold Dorsey of Baltimore and 49-year-old Richard Coleman of Dundalk held two store clerks at a Baltimore city rental store at gunpoint, forced them to open the register and took about $1,100.
Prosecutors say Dorsey and Coleman then told the clerks to lie on the floor and threatened to kill them.
Baltimore police arrived while the robbery was still in progress and arrested both men. Dorsey was sentenced Tuesday to 14 years in prison. He had pleaded guilty in the robbery.
Coleman, who also pleaded guilty, also was sentenced to 14 years in prison last week.
