Baltimore Man Charged In 2009 Slaying
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police have charged a man with a 2009 slaying in which the victim's body was found in Montgomery County.
Jeffrey Gregory, 44, of Baltimore was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Gerardo Elias Botello, 40, of no fixed address.
Botello's body was found Feb. 5, 2009 near the ramp of eastbound Father Hurley Boulevard onto southbound I-270 in Germantown. In November 2010, detectives learned that Botello had been killed in Cockeysville.
Witnesses identified the suspect.
Gregory is being held without bail.
