Homicide Rate In Baltimore Continues To Climb At Near-Record Pace
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- With two more murders in Baltimore City on Thursday, the homicide rate continues to climb at a near-record pace.
So far this year, there have been 267 homicides in Baltimore.
That's compared to 241 on this date last year -- October 11, 2018.
That's 26 more murders this year.
There has also been a dramatic increase in the number of non-fatal shootings.
