Baltimore Firefighters Battle 4-Alarm Fire On Frederick Avenue; 4 Injured
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Nearly 100 Baltimore City firefighters are battling a four-alarm fire at a three-story building in the 4000-block of Frederick Avenue.
Fire crews arrived at the scene around 7:47 p.m. Sunday to heavy smoke coming from the first and second floors and rescued three people who were trapped inside the burning structure.
Those three people and a firefighter, who suffered a burn to the face, were treated at the scene and taken to area hospitals for further treatment.
Fire officials say the fire has spread to an adjacent church that is unoccupied.
Crews are still working to bring the fire under control. They have not yet determined what caused the fire.
