Baltimore DPW Worker To Sing At Orioles Game
BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Baltimore Department of Public Works says that one of its employees is going to be singing the national anthem at the Baltimore Orioles game against the Washington Nationals.
The department says Tiffany Walker, a recycling program associate, will be singing before Friday night's game.
Walker has worked at the department for 13 years. She has been singing since she was a child and has sung both in a church choir and at school. She got an invitation to sing at the baseball game after mailing an audition tape to the productions department at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
