Baltimore County Police On The Scene Of A Barricade Situation
WOODLAWN, Md. (WJZ) -- A barricade situation brings armed police officers to a Woodlawn neighborhood.
Police say a 29-year-old man holed himself up inside an apartment on Dogwood Road with his girlfriend early Thursday morning after a domestic incident. Apparently, the apartment is part of a house.
The woman was able to leave the apartment with her sister a short time later.
Roads were shut down as a precaution, and police believed that the man was armed.
The suspect surrendered after more than six hours. The suspect was taken into police custody just after 3 p.m.
No one was hurt.
Charges are pending.
