Deer Blamed In Fatal 2-Car Crash In Owings Mills
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) — A fatal accident in Owings Mills Thursday afternoon is being blamed on a deer darting out onto the road.
Captain Jeff Long and Sky Eye Chopper 13 was over Garrison Forest Road just before 3 p.m.
Police say a woman was driving south when a deer ran onto the roadway.
She hit the deer, throwing it onto the windshield of a car traveling northbound.
The driver of that car, 56-year old Daniel Fisher, was killed. The deer was also killed and the driver's car went off the road and crashed into a fence.
The woman was treated for minor injuries.
