Man Seriously Hurt In Hunting Accident
PARKTON Md. Md. (WJZ) -- A man is in serious condition after a hunting trip goes terribly wrong.
Police responded to a call in the 300-block of Stablers Church Tuesday morning and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim, Christopher Kinne, 43, was driven to a hospital in Pennsylvania.
Officials say Kinne was trespassing on the property, owned by an acquaintance of the accused shooter. The suspect and the property owner confronted Kinne about whether Kinne had the right to be on the property.
While the property owner left to call police, officials say the suspect and Kinne continued to argue, and at some point the suspect shot Kinne in the leg.
The suspect will be charged with first- and second-degree assault.
