Baltimore County Announces $12M Plan To Enhance Senior Centers
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Major changes are coming to senior centers in Baltimore County.
County Executive Johnny Olszewski says $12 million will go toward expanding the Woodlawn Senior Center, renovations to eight other centers, and build a new center in northern Baltimore County.
Olszewski says this will help older residents stay active and connected in the communities where they live.
The money is part of the executive's budget that will go before the council later this month.
