Baltimore Co. Police Arrest 3 People In Wave Of Recent Robberies
TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) -- Three men are now in custody and may be connected to more than a dozen robberies in Baltimore County. They could be responsible for violent confrontations with students from Towson University and Goucher College.

The chief says there's a possible connection. The men are charged with four commercial robberies, including at a Dunkin Donuts, two Dollar Tree stores and a 7-Eleven.
WJZ obtained surveillance video showing the 7-Eleven on Sherwood Road in Towson. You see the clerk straightening up, and she goes outside. About a minute later, the men use a long knife to order her back behind the counter. They take cash, cigarettes and leave.
Police say the men are responsible for as many as 14 violent robberies throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County. That could include attacks on a Towson University and Goucher College student along Burke Avenue near both campuses.
Karina Goldvarg is a friend and co-worker of the victim at the store.
Hellgren: "How frightening was it for her? Was she terrified?"
Goldvarg: "She was. She ended up calling me later on at like 11 o'clock, telling me she was really scared of what happened."
"One of them was standing behind her with the knife held out on her," she continued. "I'm sure she's very happy that they didn't hurt her at all."
The men were wearing masks when they came up to the clerk and tried to attack her. She could not see their faces.
Police, who saturated the area, captured them just a few blocks away.
"We will not tolerate this behavior in Baltimore County, and we'll use every possible resource to do that," said Chief James Johnson, Baltimore County Police.
The knife-wielding robbers put the community on edge for weeks.
"As a person living around this area, you have to keep your guard up. And it's not good," said student Aden Molina, Towson University.
"What if it could happen again? What if more people want to come out and rob more Towson students?" asked Moriah Burke, Towson student.
Police have now charged the men. The video will be key in their prosecution.
Authorities have identified the men charged as 25-year-old Adrian Walden, 30-year-old Damon Williams and 37-year-old Solomon Dunn.
Detectives believe that Dunn served as the driver of the getaway vehicle, and that Williams and Walden committed the armed robberies.
They have not said whether other people could be connected to these crimes.
The investigation remains open.
