Baltimore City Police Investigating 2 Monday Night Fatalities
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Baltimore police are investigating two Monday night fatalities.
Police say a man was stabbed Monday night in the 3600-block of Benson Avenue in Southwest Baltimore, and then later died at the hospital.
A person of interest was taken into custody.
The victim's name has not been released.
There is no word on what led to the stabbing.
Police are also investigating a deadly shooting in Northeast Baltimore.
Police say a man in his 20s was shot in the head in the 3000-block of Tivoly Avenue.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Commissioner Anthony Batts says detectives canvassed the area for the shooter Monday night. There's no word yet on if there is a person of interest or if an arrest has been made.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
