Baltimore City Police Impersonator Arrested For Robbery
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Baltimore City police arrest a man they say posed as a police officer in order to rob someone.
Jermaul Dean, 24, is in police custody. He was identified by a victim as the man saying he was a city cop and then stealing people's money.
Dean told police officers that he was about to enter the city police academy and that he had done nothing wrong.
The victim says that Dean flashed a fake badge, handcuffed him and said the money in his pockets was drug related.
Charges are pending against Dean.
The robbery occurred on Poplar Grove in West Baltimore.
