Baltimore City Assistant State's Attorney Arrested For Child Porn
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Baltimore County Police have arrested and charged a Baltimore City Assistant State's Attorney with possession and distribution of child pornography.
Patrick Michael Moran, 39, was at arrested at 5 a.m. Monday, after a search and seizure warrant was served in the 8900 block of Kilkenny Circle.
On July 12, Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about Internet activity related to child pornography. The investigation led detectives to identify an address in the 8900 block of Kilkenney Circle as a source of child pornography being shared on the Internet.
Detectives also learned that Moran is a Baltimore City Assistant State's Attorney assigned to the juvenile division. There is no evidence to indicate that Moran was involved in the production of child pornography, at this time.
Moran was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography and released on $150,000 bail.
