Baltimore County Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting
WHITE MARSH, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police are investigating a police-involved shooting.
According to police officials, one suspect was shot in the chest at Pulaski Highway at Stevens Road.
According to police, at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to a motel for an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a man involved had an open warrant. When officers attempted to place him under arrest, he began to struggle with the arresting officer. Fearing for the officer's safety, a second officer fired at the suspect, fatally wounding him. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The officer was not injured.
The suspect was identified as Arnett Myers.
