Baltimore Co. Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police are investigating an officer-involved shooting.
According to officials, officers were responding to a call for a suspicious person near Merritt Point Park in Dundalk. While they were attempting to interview that person, he became aggressive. Police say he tried to take an officer's firearm. The second officer pulled out his gun and shot the person.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released.
The officers involved have been placed on administrative leave while the investigating is ongoing.
