Baltimore Co. Police Ask For Help To Solve Robbery
COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- People paying their rent were robbed at gunpoint. Now, after two weeks without an arrest, Baltimore County Police are making a plea for new information.
Adam May reports it was a brazen robbery at an apartment complex in Cockeysville. Nine people paying their rent at a window were targeted by four suspects.
"When I turned around, I see a guy with a gun, pointing his gun at me," said Kenneth Skinner.
Skinner was in the line, paying his mother's rent at 9 a.m. on Dec. 27.
"I had money in my pocket, but I also had a rent check in my pocket, a money order, and I knew they couldn't do nothing with it, so I just gave him that and got out of there," Skinner said.
"The suspects in the case were described as four black males, approximately 25-35 years of age," said Lt. Ron McCullough, Baltimore County Police.
Unfortunately, police say security cameras at the apartment didn't capture their pictures.
"The suspects fled on foot. It's believed they may have left the location in a silver or gray four door SUV," McCullough said.
"She was shocked. She couldn't believe that really happened around here," said Gabe Garcia.
Garcia's girlfriend was also in the line. He's just glad she wasn't hurt.
"She was in front so she wasn't able to see everything in back, so that worked out for her 'cause she was OK," he said.
