Authorities Investigate Fatal Crash At A Family Farm In Darlington
DARLINGTON, Md. (WJZ) -- Authorities are investigating a fatal car crash in Harford County.
Investigators say Ben Boniface, age 20, died early Monday morning.
At approximately 4:50 a.m. on Monday, Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a single motor vehicle accident that had occurred on a private farm. By the time crews responded to the scene and located Boniface, he was already dead.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Boniface was operating a family pick-up truck on a private road on the family farm when he struck several fence posts.
After 911 was called, the father of the victim and another man removed Boniface from the truck and began to perform CPR.
Deputies believe Boniface lost control of his vehicle, and it left the road and struck a fence. Parts of the fence went through the windshield, causing trauma to Boniface.
